Technical Analyst - Paradise Valley Unified School District (2012 - present)

• As the Technical Analyst I design, influence, and oversee the technological development of the entire K-12 district, bringing together stakeholders and leadership to ensure that their vision is fulfilled by internal and external technical resources, while also maintaining =-audience appropriate communication with all parties. Accomplishments include:

  • Organized, project managed, and successfully completed the purchase, construction, and configuration of the district's own fiber WAN network. One of the only school districts in the United States to possess their own network.

  • Participated in one of the first K-12 installations of Google Apps in the United States, continuing to manage an extensive G Suite deployment with approximately 35,000 users and a nearly equivalent fleet of Chrome devices.

  • Directed the design, development, and configuration of the district's new data center, network infrastructure, security posture, and domain deployment.

  • Ongoing assessment and, if needed, migration from legacy applications to suitable platforms such as SaaS, IaaS, third party programs, custom made products, and more.

  • Oversight of contractors, consultants, and vendors to collaborate and ensure milestones were successfully met in adherence with expectations and SLAs.

  • Learning new techniques, best practices, industry developments, technologies, and skills as needed - including taking several certifications and courses to bring knowledge back to the organization.
